Getting Started

What makes Waybridge different from other mental health providers?+

We specialize in advanced, research-backed treatments like TMS, ketamine therapy, and Spravato, alongside traditional psychiatric care. Our providers spend real time with patients (60-minute initial evaluations), and we offer multiple modalities under one roof so you do not have to navigate the system alone.

How do I schedule my first appointment?+

Start by calling us or completing our online contact form. A Care Coordinator will reach out within one business day to discuss your needs, verify your insurance, and schedule your initial evaluation.

How quickly can I be seen?+

We prioritize getting patients in quickly. Most new patients are seen within a few days to a week of their initial call.

What should I expect at my first visit?+

Your first visit is a comprehensive 60-minute evaluation with one of our psychiatrists. They will review your history, discuss your symptoms, and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.

Insurance & Payment

Do you accept insurance?+

Yes. We accept all major insurance plans for most services. Our team verifies your benefits and handles prior authorizations before treatment begins.

Is ketamine therapy covered by insurance?+

IV ketamine is a cash-pay service and is not covered by commercial insurance. However, the VA will cover ketamine for eligible veterans. Spravato (esketamine nasal spray), which is FDA-approved, is covered by most insurance plans.

Does insurance cover TMS therapy?+

Yes. TMS is covered by most major insurance plans for the treatment of major depressive disorder. We handle the prior authorization process for you.

What if I do not have insurance?+

We offer self-pay options and can discuss payment plans. Contact our team to learn about available options.

Treatments

How do I know which treatment is right for me?+

Your psychiatrist will conduct a thorough evaluation and recommend a treatment plan based on your specific symptoms, history, and goals. We often combine treatments for the best results.

What if I have tried medications and they have not worked?+

This is actually our specialty. Treatments like TMS, ketamine, and Spravato are specifically designed for patients who have not responded to traditional medications.

Are your treatments safe?+

All of our treatments are FDA-cleared or have strong research backing. They are administered and monitored by experienced medical professionals in a clinical setting.

Can I continue seeing my current therapist while being treated at Waybridge?+

Absolutely. We encourage it. Our team coordinates with your existing providers to ensure a cohesive treatment approach.

Appointments & Logistics

Do you offer telehealth appointments?+

We offer telehealth for psychiatric follow-up appointments and some initial consultations. TMS, ketamine, and Spravato treatments must be done in person at our clinics.

Can I drive myself to and from treatments?+

For psychiatric appointments and TMS, yes. For ketamine and Spravato sessions, you will need someone to drive you home as these treatments can cause temporary sedation.

How often will I need to come in?+

It depends on your treatment plan. TMS typically requires daily visits for 4-6 weeks. Ketamine and Spravato follow their own schedules. Psychiatric follow-ups are usually every 2-4 weeks initially.
